For our more dynamic and curious guests, we have prepared numerous excursions on Lake Garda and to some of the most beautiful cities in northern Italy. On your arrival, you can choose between organised tours or simple suggestions for individual tours.
Entertainment, history, art and culture fill these areas, sometimes little known, but rich in interesting ideas for days different than the usual ones, to spend discovering unique and fascinating places.

Organised Excursions

The lake tour:

an entire day dedicated to one of the largest and most scenic lakes in Europe, with stops in the most famous and sheltered destinations, such as Limone sul Garda, Riva del Garda and Malcesine. An opportunity to get to know the whole area in just one, wonderful day (150 km approx.)

second Roman city in Italy, a story with a thousand faces that winds through the Romans, the barbarian invasions, the medieval lords of the Della Scala family, continuing with the Venetians, the French with Napoleon Bonaparte and ending with the Austrian domination. Capital of lyrical opera, Shakespearean love and good wine, Verona is one of the cities that is much appreciated if you are accompanied by an experienced guide (about 20 km).

city of timeless charm with its mysterious "sotoportegos” (underground alleys), romantic bridges and spacious "campos" (city squares). Magically built in the form of fish, water is its natural element and the base of its "vias" (streets), as well as of its main artery: the Grand Canal (about 120 km).

Great Dolomites:

a day full of peaks and the most beautiful and renowned places of this, much admired, mountainous area, the Natural Heritage of Humanity: Cavalese, Moena, Canazei and Ortisei, passing through the wonderful valleys of Fiemme, Fassa and Gardena, overlooked by the impressive Sass Pordoi and the Sella group, a breath-taking scenery included in numerous movies and advertisements.

economic, financial and fashion capital, Milan is a pleasant discovery of artistic beauties and a fascinating combination of tradition and innovation. A walk through the famous Manzoni Gallery, in the shade of the imposing buildings of the Duomo or Sforzesco Castle, is a pleasant diversion from the unbridled shopping that usually is a part of the tour! (140 km approx.)

Mantua and the Sigurtà Garden Park:

morning dedicated to art and culture, with a visit to the amazing Mantua, the hometown of Rigoletto, with its Ducal Palace of the Gonzaga Lords, the porch lanes and the Tè Palace. The tour continues with a comprehensive afternoon at the Sigurtà Garden Park, one of the largest and richest botanical gardens in Europe, with a varied flowering in every season (40 km approx.)

Bolzano and Renon:

discovering the fascinating city of Bolzano, with its Tyrolean architecture, dotted with lush vegetation and crowned by impressive mountains, including the Renon Plateau, where Mother Nature gave us a chance to admire one of its special wonders, existing only in some places in the world: the Pyramids of the Earth (145 km approx.)

Individual Day Tours (Hidden pearls – organised at your discretion)

The Hop-on / Hop-off boat:

navigarda, sailing company from Lake Garda, provides a daily ticket for embark on and disembark from public boats from/to various lake towns. A fantastic opportunity to visit the picturesque towns of Sirmione, Lazise, Garda, Desenzano and Salò.

Valeggio sul Mincio and Borghetto:

on the banks of the romantic River Mincio, there are the towns of Valeggio and Borghetto. Authentic and picturesque, the first known for the famous Bridge on Mincio and the Visconteo Castle, the second for being the favourite place of brides and grooms for the wedding day photos! It is certainly obligatory to finish the visits by tasting a fabulous typical dish: the renowned Tortellini di Valeggio.

The Monte Baldo cable car:

driving along the Eastern Gardesana is a pleasure that you should try at least once in your life! From Malcesine (reachable only along this road), at the foot of Monte Baldo, leaves the panoramic cable car. Completely in glass, it has been recently renovated and offers the opportunity to admire, from the 2000-meter height, perhaps the most beautiful view of the entire lake. Not to be missed!

Castellaro Lagusello and the wine cellars of Custoza and Lugana:

individually by car, but even better by bike, we recommend a visit to the nearby ancient village of Castellaro Lagusello. And, why not, a visit to the wine cellars on the wavy Morena hills, producing two of the most renowned wines of this area: the Bianco di Custoza and the Lugana.

The Vittoriale (Shrine of Victories) and the André Heller Botanical Garden:

in Gardone Riviera, you can find a piece of Italian history. Gabriele D'Annunzio lived here, in the magnificent Vittoriale villa, nowadays a museum. There is also the opportunity to reach the entrance of the Museum by the tourist train directly from the port! Furthermore, in Gardone, there is the André Heller Botanical Garden, very renowned, especially abroad.

Extreme Shopping:

nearby Peschiera del Garda there are numerous shopping malls with abundant shopping opportunities: Grande Mela and Auchan in Bussolengo (Verona), Leone in Desenzano (Brescia), Mantova Outlet (Mantua), and finishing with the largest mall in Italy, the Orio Centre (Bergamo).
In addition, the Pro Loco authorities of various towns organise group excursions every week, on foot or by bicycle, some of which are free, others require a small contribution, all contributing to the promotion of the smallest locations in this area.
